Pondicheri debuts in NYC

How many flavours does a ‘Gulab jamun donut’ have in its belly? It is hard to guess. In its out-of-town foray, Pondicheri, a Houston-based restaurant owned by Anita Jaisinghani debuts in NYC and is serving breakfast, snacks and lunch. Pondicheri offers a pan Indian menu with interesting spins in chaats, rotis, salads, and other delicacies. ‘Railway Omelet’ filled with, as the menu describes, “everything but the kitchen sink” served with a carrot roti could be a satisfying express meal to nostalgia. Dig into their menu to meet a samosa reveal saag or a slow-cooked goat.
